OCS TRAINING

2008 OCS Training & New Product Workshop Schedule at our Indianapolis, IN headquarters.

These are free-of-charge and require only that you handle your own travel expenses. We recommend that you bring your own laptop computer. The amount of class space is limited, and availability is on a first come, first serve basis. You can sign up by completing and submitting the Workshop Registration Form below.

2008 Courses:
FREE: 3-Day OCS Training Course
This workshop is a hands-on, laboratory course that introduces OCS products. It is ideal for customers, distributors, sales people, application engineers, and others who are familiar with programmable controllers in general, but not the OCS in particular.

We have divided our training into several sessions:

Day 1: Class on Cscape Software Basics
Date: Tuesday (8:30am-4pm)
This 1-day course covers screen development, ladder logic elements, I/O configuration…and more. It's a on-hands laboratory workshop geared toward those who are familiar with programmable controllers in general, but not the OCS in particular.

Day 2: CsCAN Networking and Graphics Introduction
First 1/2 day class on CsCAN Networking, and 2nd ˝ day class on Graphics Intro
Date: Wednesday (8:30am - 4pm)
This class will focus on the basics of CsCAN communication and Cscape Graphics training. You'll learn CsCAN hands-on during lab training the first half of the day, and Cscape Graphics during the second half of the day. This training is for individuals with a basic knowledge of OCS products, and/or those who attended the first day of training.

Day 3: Advanced Features of the Color-Touch and Models with Removable Memory (1/2 Day Class)
Date: Thursday (8:30am -2pm)
Covers any graphics training not completed during previous day's class, and also highlights and explains the advance product features of the Color-Touch products and other products with removable memory.

Pre-requisite: Familiarity with programmable controllers in general. Suggested Equipment: Laptop computer.

Travel and Accommodations:
Airline and hotel arrangements are the responsibility of each attendee. Transportation to/from the airport/hotel (Hampton Inn) is available via Carey Limousine Service (317-241-7100). Horner APG can provide Transportation to/ from Hampton Inn to the Training Workshop for those who need it.
