HE693PBM100 HE693PBS105 HE693PBS106 The Profibus DP network interfaces available from Horner Electric are the only network interfaces available for use with GE Fanuc Series 90-30 PLCs. Both master (HE693PBM100) and slave (HE693PBS105) modules are available. The PBM100 functions as a Profibus DP network master controlling up to 64 slave devices. The PBS105 slave module acknowledges parameters and configurations from a Profibus master and replies with diagnostic information. Profibus DP, a token-passing network, supports one master controlling the network and writing to the slaves, but multiple masters may read information off of the Profibus network. The Profibus DP application allows for the connection of I/O devices and simple field devices to an automation system. Emphasis is on fast transmission of small data volumes.
