These Series 90-30 modules provide six RTD inputs that allow the direct connection of 3-wire RTD sensors, providing temperature values directly to the PLC CPU in ¡C or ¡F increments. All analog and digital processing of the RTD signal is performed on the module. Temperature values are reported to 6 %AI registers. The modules' six input channels support a variety of sensors, the current list is provided in the chart below.

The RTD660 series, which includes the HE693RTD665 and 666, provides all of the above features plus the added security of channel-to-channel (5VAC) and channel-to-bus (1500VAC) isolation. The RTD660 series also features digital alarm inputs (%I). Alarm setpoints are configured for each channel using 6 %AQ registers. The RTD665 and RTD666 are identical to the RTD660 with one additional feature: the RTD665 has a 50Hz filter and the RTD666 has a 60Hz filter. RTD units have a typical accuracy rating of +/-0.3¡C (RTD660, 665, 666) or +/-0.5¡C (RTD600, 601) and an update time of 50 channels per second. I/O points required for the RTD600 series are 6 %AI. Those required for the RTD660 series are 6 %AI, 6 %AQ and 16 %I.
